While not raised Catholic, my best friend was - and we've discussed Lent a great deal in the past few days. After perusing your blog, I must say that while our beliefs may not mirror each others, I hold your faith in high regard. Mostly because (all jokes aside about those three extra minutes you were waiting) that you are using this time to reflect, personally, on what your faith means to you - and how to utilize your faith to make the world a better place.
Thank you for demonstrating that having faith does not mean closing your mind and heart to others.
