Why do you blog?

According to the Pew Internet and and American Life project, "self expression" is the reason most of us are out here.

Self-expression, of course, but also a sense of community, a place to practice my writing and save papers, just habit.

Because I hope that it leads to me writing something a little bit bigger. I've also kinda developed "friendships" if you will, with fellow bloggers.

I was happy for you when you became a grandfather, I was happy for Jarrett and Terrance when they bought their houses. I mourn if someone that I follow via blogs loses someone they love.

Even though we've never met, it's turned into a relationship that is created because of our interest in each other.
