James Cameron (along with his liberal Hollywood cronies) is far too much of a coward to try a corresponding hit piece on the cornerstones of Islam. If he did "all hell" would break loose: he would fear death, and there would be world-wide riots and Islamist terrorism far worse than the Dutch cartoon episode produced.
This "mock-u-mentary" is obviously a ploy to rake in the bucks, at expense of the Christian religion (the only ideals for which it is politically correct to show intolerance).
Christianity (and of course also Judaism) have a long history of critical archaeological and historical study. As such, they certainly make for safer and convenient targets for popular controversy.
