Irina, it is Jewish-safe. ;-) I based the words on a book from pre-Christian Jewish literature that we Catholic have in our bibles, the Book of Tobias.

What an interesting story - and a cool song! For some reason I've never heard of the Book of Tobias... but am not surprised that it is Apocryphal, lol. Sounds like it includes some superstitions... Still, sounds like something I would definitely read (and will). Thanks for pointing it out!
